Two-at-a-time Socks with Magic Loop
Two-at-a-Time Socks with Magic Loop
Never suffer from second sock syndrome again! Learn how to work two socks at the same time using the magic loop method. This workshop will cover how to do magic loop on one long circular needle, and how to cast on and start knitting two socks at the same time. We’ll work our socks cuff down for this workshop, but once you know the technique it can be applied to toe-up socks and sleeves. Prerequisites: participants should be comfortable casting on, working knit and purl, and increases and decreases - familiarity with knitting sock is an asset. Materials: Participants should bring 40” or 47” circular needle in a size appropriate for their yarn (fingering to DK weight) and yarn wound into two separate balls of equal weight.
