German Short Rows with Stephanie Earp

Short rows are essential for shaping sweaters and other items worked in the round. In this workshop, learn the German short row method, an easy and invisible alternative to the wrap-and-turn method. In addition to learning the technique, the workshop will cover where to use short rows, including sock heels, sweater yokes and bust shaping.
Prerequisites: participants should be comfortable casting on, working knit and purl and increase and decreases and familiar with working in the round.
Materials: Participates should bring 16” or 24” circular needles in any size, yarn that will work with those needles and a few stitch markers.
